It has been a mixed bag of a week, including some great times with the kids; emotional and physical tiredness; brain fatigue; my worst seizure since early May; a visit from a different wing of Garden Force; and, a warm welcome from our new neighbours.
My big seizure happened last Sunday. I had pushed myself a bit too much (it really doesn’t take much) on Saturday Continue reading “Choppy Waters Still Run Deep”
No, the title doesn’t refer to my age (although I feel it sometimes!) but this is the 150th post on this blog.
It’s come (coincidentally) in the middle of quite a big week for me and my family: I started the week with the final tablets of my final cycle of chemotherapy; Jennifer “graduated” from nursery yesterday and finishes pre-school tomorrow; and, tomorrow we move into our new home, The Hobbit House. I did the modern-day equivalent of what Abraham Lincoln did: he wrote letters to people to express his anger and/or disappointment and then threw them away without sending them. I am glad that I decided not to publish a post in haste only to repent at leisure.
Back to our regular programming of updates about my health, happenings and the Hobbit House. Continue reading “A Delayed Post: Better Late than Full of Hate”
